Here is the thing everybody plans around badly. The parents are staying.

They always stay. They say they will drop off and they do not, and then you have thirty adults along a wall watching teenagers dance, which is a bad night for the teenagers and a worse one for the adults.

So we run it on two floors. DJ and the LED dance floor upstairs in The Loft — that room, that floor, that volume, which is what the sixteen-year-old actually pictured. The parents get the first floor and a bar of their own. Everybody is in the same building. Nobody is in the same room.

Food teenagers will genuinely eat, out of a real kitchen. A kids menu where everything is ten dollars.

Twenty-firsts, fortieths, fiftieths & the ones with no number attached

The Lounge holds thirty — the right room for the birthday where the point is hearing each other. Twelve-ounce ribeye, red wine braised short rib, a crab cake worth ordering, eleven signature cocktails, and a pool table and shuffleboard that are free all night.

The Loft holds two hundred fifty when the number is bigger and the point is dancing.

The LED floor earns its keep at a fortieth more than anywhere else in the building. Something happens to a room full of people who have not danced since somebody's wedding when the floor lights up under them. We watch it most weekends.

Book the band

The part most people do not think to ask. There is a permanent stage in The Loft and a steady stream of bands through it.

A live band at a fiftieth is a different event than a playlist at a fiftieth, and it costs less than most people assume. Tell us the era and we will tell you who plays it — rock, soul, funk, blues, Americana, tributes, DJs.

Per head, and what moves it is the menu & the bar package. That is the whole calculation.

Tell us the date, how many, and whether you want the band. A real number comes back inside one business day.

Any room, the Lounge included, starts at twenty guests. Twenty-five percent holds the date.

First floor fully accessible, restrooms included. The Loft is second floor with no elevator — but there is a stair-climbing chair and staff trained to use it. It is not step-free access and it has to be arranged ahead — tell us at booking if that matters to anyone coming.

Not everybody needs a room

Four of you, six of you, ten of you — that is a table, not an event. Book it and come.

The birthday guest eats free, up to forty dollars, on a table of four or more. Any day inside five days either side of the birthday — it does not have to be the day itself. Food only, bring ID, and it does not stack with another discount or apply to private events.

No room rental, no minimum, no deposit, no contract. Tell us it is a birthday when you book so the table is right & the kitchen knows.
