Showers & daytime.

Before we open the doors, the building belongs to you.

That is the part worth understanding. A shower in a restaurant is a corner of somebody else's lunch service — servers cutting through your photographs, a table of strangers four feet away, and a hard stop when the dinner reservations start arriving. A daytime booking here is the whole room, quiet, with nobody else in it.

The rooms

The Lounge, 20 to 30 — first floor, one level, no stairs. The right size for most bridal and baby showers, and the easiest room in the building for a grandmother with a walker.

The first floor, up to 100 seated — for when the guest list ran away from you, which it usually does.

The Loft, up to 250 — for the shower that is really a party, or a graduation luncheon, or a christening reception where both sides of the family came.

Daytime is the smart booking

A room starts at twenty guests, the Lounge included. Weekday rates start at $250. You get the building at its calmest and the staff at their least stretched, and the whole thing costs meaningfully less than the same event on a Saturday night.

Showers, luncheons, christenings, graduations, retirement lunches, association meetings, morning-after brunches. Sunday and Monday are private-events-only days — so if you want the place entirely to yourselves, ask for one of those two first.

The food

Same kitchen, all day. Not a limited lunch card.

Jumbo lump crab cake with shrimp mousse, sesame-seared tuna, fresh pappardelle, and a kids menu where everything is ten dollars, which matters more at a baby shower than at anything else we host.

Coffee service, a bar if you want one open, and no bar at all if you do not. Nobody is going to push a drinks package on a christening.

Set up the way you want it

You get the room before guests arrive — long enough to lay out favors, hang a backdrop, arrange a dessert table and do it without rushing. Tell us your layout when you book and it will be set that way when you walk in.

Per head, and it moves with the menu & the bar package. Daytime runs lighter on both, which is most of why a Saturday morning costs what a Saturday morning costs.

The first floor is fully accessible, restrooms included — for most showers we would steer you there over the Loft anyway, since the Loft is up a flight of stairs; there is a stair-climbing chair if it is arranged ahead, but the first floor is simply the easier room for a daytime party.
