The sign still says Midtown Social until New Year's Eve — same building, same corner, same phone. We become 660 LIVE on 31 December.

Midtown at 660

Celebrations of life.

These come together fast & usually at the worst week of somebody's life. We keep it simple — you call, we take the details once, and you do not have to explain it again.

Somebody has died and you have been handed the job of feeding forty people on Thursday. That is usually how this arrives. There was no time to plan it, you are making decisions while grieving, and half a dozen relatives have opinions. What you need is a room, food that is genuinely good, and someone who will take the details off your hands.

The room

First floor, fully accessible, restrooms on the same level. The Lounge holds twenty to thirty and is quiet and private, which is the right size for most memorial receptions.

If the gathering is larger, the first floor seats up to a hundred and holds two hundred. We can close the building entirely so there is nobody else in it. Sunday and Monday are private-events-only days, and daytime is the calmest booking we have.

What we handle

Coffee, tea and a full lunch or dinner from the same kitchen that cooks on a Saturday night — not a limited reception menu. Food that feels like care rather than catering.

A bar if the family wants one open, and no bar at all if they do not. Nobody here will suggest otherwise.

AV for a photo tribute, and sound for music. A microphone if people want to speak, and the room set so everyone can hear them. Space at the entrance for photographs, flowers or a memory table, arranged before anyone arrives.

If there is music that mattered to the person, tell us and it will be playing when the family walks in.

What it costs

Daytime & weekday rates apply. No minimum on this one. Four people or a hundred and forty — a family arranging a funeral is not a booking to hold to a number, and we are not going to.

Call and we will give you one number on the phone, for the whole reception. You should not be comparing packages this week.

How to arrange it

Call rather than fill in a form — 610-220-2367.

We will ask a handful of questions, tell you what is available, and take it from there. If you would rather someone else made the call, give a friend or the funeral director this number and our name and we will work with them directly.

We have done this before. You do not need to have all the answers when you ring.
