The basics

What is 660 LIVE?

A live-music gastropub and private event venue at 660 E Lancaster Avenue in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, on Philadelphia's Main Line. Downstairs is a bar with a full kitchen, pool tables, a dance floor and hundred-inch screens for the game. Upstairs, The Loft at 660 holds up to 250 for shows and private events, and both floors together take up to 500. One building, two floors, three revenue lines — and it has been on this corner since 2013.

Is 660 LIVE the same place as Midtown Social?

Yes. Same building, same corner, same phone. It opened as 30 Main in 2013, became Midtown Social in 2023, and becomes 660 LIVE — the address on the door — on New Year's Eve. We are not affiliated with any other business using "660" or "Midtown" in its name, anywhere. One location, no others. The whole history.

Where exactly are you? Is Berwyn on the Main Line?

660 E Lancaster Avenue, Berwyn, PA 19312 — Easttown Township, Chester County, in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District. And yes, Berwyn is squarely on the Main Line: the string of towns that grew up along the Pennsylvania Railroad's main line west out of Philadelphia — Overbrook, Merion, Narberth, Wynnewood, Ardmore, Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, Villanova, Radnor, St. Davids, Wayne, Strafford, Berwyn, Daylesford, Paoli and Malvern. Berwyn station sits directly across Lancaster Avenue from our front door, on what is now SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale line. We are about as literally on the Main Line as a building can be.

What is around you?

Berwyn sits in eastern Chester County, where it meets Delaware and Montgomery. Inside twenty minutes: Devon, Strafford, Wayne, Paoli, Malvern, Chesterbrook, Radnor, Villanova, King of Prussia & Valley Forge. A little further out: Bryn Mawr, Ardmore, Haverford, Newtown Square, Phoenixville, Norristown, Conshohocken, Media, Exton, West Chester & Downingtown. Philadelphia is about half an hour east on Lancaster Avenue or a straight run in on the train.

Are you a private club?

No. Open to the public, no membership, everyone welcome to eat, drink and come to whatever is on.

Is the mural on Main Avenue yours?

It is on the side of our building, yes — though it belongs to Berwyn now. It celebrates music, dancing and community life, and was created by the DiDomenico family in memory of their father, who served ten years as president of the Berwyn business association, with Stacy Ballard and EADEH. Are you hiring?

Usually, yes — servers, bartenders, barbacks, hosts, line cooks, prep, and banquet staff for events. Applications year-round even when nothing is posted. Careers, or come in Tuesday through Thursday between four and six and ask for a manager.

Hours & getting in

What are your hours?

Open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from four. Kitchen five to nine. The bar menu runs to ten Tuesday through Thursday and to midnight Friday and Saturday. The bar itself runs to midnight Tuesday through Thursday and to two on Friday and Saturday, with last call at one thirty and no admission after midnight. Sunday and Monday are private events only — with one exception: every Eagles game, home or away, we open for it — Sunday games, doors at one; Monday-night games, doors at six. Private events run all seven days, including Sunday and Monday.

How late are you open, and can I get in after midnight?

Friday and Saturday we are open until two, last call one thirty. Nobody new comes in after midnight — but if you are already here, you stay until we close. The last hour is for the people who stayed, not the people arriving. Tuesday through Thursday the bar closes at midnight.

Are you open on Sundays?

Not for regular service — but every Eagles Sunday, home or away, we open from one: every screen on, sound up, full bar, kitchen on. Same for a Monday-night game — doors at six. The game days are on the sports page and What's On. Every other Sunday, and every Monday, is private events only — and always available to book.

Can guests under 21 come in?

Yes — under-21s are welcome with a parent or guardian until ten at night. After ten it is twenty-one and over and we check ID at the door. Private events are the exception: under-21 guests are welcome at those at any hour, which is why we host so many sweet sixteens, mitzvahs and graduation parties.

How do you check ID?

Twenty-one and over to be served, every time. Staff review every ID, backed by Minor Decliner and AI-assisted verification, and we reserve the right to refuse entry or service when an ID cannot be verified. Every bartender is RAMP certified — Pennsylvania's Responsible Alcohol Management Program — and so is the general manager. How we run the room.

Will you admit someone who is already drunk?

No. A guest who arrives visibly intoxicated is not admitted, and we would rather help them get home than argue about it. We also reserve the right to stop serving anyone, at any point.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

No. Not anywhere inside, of any kind.

Tables, food & drink

How do I book a table?

Through OpenTable for anything up to eight people — a Reserve button sits on every page of this site. Nine or more, or you want the Lounge held? Use the group form and a person answers, usually the same day. Tables book under the name Midtown Social on OpenTable until the sign changes — same room, same phone.

Do I need a reservation?

Recommended for dinner, especially Friday and Saturday. Bar seats, the pool tables and the dance floor are first come, first served.

Can I reserve a table for a show upstairs?

No — table reservations are downstairs, where the full kitchen is. Upstairs in The Loft we serve bar bites during shows, not the full menu, and seating up there is open. Having dinner before a show? Book a downstairs table at least two hours before it starts so you are not rushing the meal or missing the opener.

Can I place a to-go order?

Yes, during dinner service, Tuesday through Saturday. Call 610-220-2367.

Do you serve food late?

Yes. The bar menu — burgers, salads, bar bites & flatbreads — runs after the kitchen closes: to ten Tuesday through Thursday, to midnight Friday and Saturday. The whole card.

Do you have a kids menu?

Yes — everything ten dollars, each with a soft drink and fries or fruit. Under-21s are welcome for dinner with a parent and at private events. The menu.

What do you have to drink?

A full bar — signature cocktails from twelve to eighteen dollars, rotating drafts that lean local, and reds, whites and sparkling by the glass. The espresso martini is pulled fresh to order, shaken hard for a real crema head, three beans on top, sixteen dollars, and worth ordering twice.

Is there a late-night happy hour on the Main Line?

Ours runs twice a night. Four to six Tuesday through Friday, and again nine to eleven Thursday and Friday — three-dollar select drafts, five-dollar house wines, cocktails from nine, wells from seven, and the pool tables free while it runs. Main bar and lounge only, not at dining tables or upstairs, and not combined with another discount. Happy hour.

Do you have an industry discount?

Yes. Ten percent off food, Tuesday through Thursday, for anyone working in hospitality — front or back of house, anywhere you work. Show a pay stub, a work shirt or an industry card. It does not stack with happy hour; take whichever saves you more. The Hospitality Circle.

Is there a birthday offer?

Yes. The birthday guest eats free, up to forty dollars, at a table of four or more — good for five days either side of the birthday, so it does not have to be the day itself. Food only, ID required, not combined with happy hour or another discount, and not at private events. Birthdays.

What is Taco Tuesday?

A six-dollar taco plate all night, every Tuesday, with karaoke from eight. No cover, nothing to sign up for in advance — turn up. The cheapest good night out on the Main Line.

Can I get the catering menu for a normal dinner?

No — the catering menu is for private events only, in our rooms or off-site. What we serve in the lounge Tuesday through Saturday is the restaurant menu. If there is something on the catering menu you want for a party, that is exactly what it is there for.

Nights out

Where can I watch the Eagles or a Villanova game near Berwyn?

Here. Hundred-inch screens across the whole first floor — Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, Sixers, Villanova basketball and Saturday college football, sound on for the big ones. Doors at four Tuesday through Saturday, so weeknight games work — and every Eagles game, home or away, we open for it: Sunday games from one, Monday-night games from six. Which bar in Berwyn has pool tables?

We do — pool tables, shuffleboard, foosball, darts and ping pong in the front room, plus a real dance floor. It is the thing guests mention most and the reason people stay for an evening rather than a meal.

Where can I go dancing on the Main Line?

Here — and there is very little else. Two dance floors: one downstairs in the lounge, and the LED floor upstairs in The Loft for shows, themed nights and private events. What's on has which nights.

Is there live entertainment?

Five nights a week. Karaoke Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Channel 660, our game show night, Wednesdays from October 7. Open mic comedy every Thursday at seven thirty. A DJ every other Saturday. Are you near the Devon Horse Show?

A few minutes west of the showgrounds on the same road. Come out of Dorset Road, turn west on Lancaster, and you are here. Free parking, open Tuesday through Saturday through the show. What is The Loft at 660?

Our second-floor room — 150 seated or 250 reception-style, with a stage, house sound, stage lighting, an LED dance floor and layouts that work for weddings, fundraisers, corporate events and large parties. It is also where the bands play. The Loft.

What spaces can I book for a private event?

Five options. The Lounge, first floor, twenty to thirty. The First Floor Event Space, up to 80 seated. The First Floor Buyout, up to 250 reception-style. The Loft, 150 seated or 250 reception-style. Both floors, up to 500. Catering, staffing, rentals and coordination come with all of them, seven days a week. The rooms.

What is the minimum for a private event?

Twenty guests, for any room — the Lounge included. Smaller than that, call 610-220-2367 anyway — we will tell you what is on that night, hold you the right table or a corner of the lounge, and sort a cake if you need one. A birthday for eight is still a birthday.

What does it cost to book a room?

Weekday rental of The Loft starts at $250. Food, bar packages and staffing are quoted on top and built around what you actually want. Send a date and a headcount and you get a number back, usually within one business day. Check a date.

How do open bar packages work?

Open bar packages run for a maximum of two hours and come with a minimum food purchase. The event is not limited to two hours — only the open bar is. Consumption bars, drink tickets, beer-and-wine-only and cash bars are all available. Alcohol is served to guests twenty-one and over with valid ID.

Can guests bring their own alcohol?

No. Outside alcohol is not permitted — it is a license condition, not a preference. Anything poured here comes through our bar or an approved event package.

Do you host sorority and fraternity events?

Yes — formals, semi-formals, mixers, philanthropy nights, senior send-offs and alumni weekends. Villanova is ten minutes down Lancaster Avenue, and Eastern, Immaculata, West Chester and Penn State Great Valley are an easy drive. Every chapter event is a closed private booking, upstairs in The Loft or in a shut-off first-floor room, never the public bar. Anyone drinking is twenty-one and over, wristbanded, with ID checked at the door. We will speak to a chapter advisor, risk manager or nationals directly. College & Greek.

Do you host weddings?

Receptions up to 250 in The Loft, rehearsal dinners the night before, and — the one people do not expect — after-parties for couples getting married anywhere on the Main Line. We are open until two Friday and Saturday with a dance floor, a DJ and a kitchen still running, which is exactly what you need when the reception ends at ten. Weddings.

Do you cater off-site?

Yes — full-service catering, planning, staffing and rentals at homes, offices and other venues across the Main Line, from passed hors d'oeuvres to plated filet mignon, with vegetarian and vegan options throughout. Off-site events require separate event insurance, and serving alcohol off-site requires separate insurance as well; catering delivery does not. We tell you what is needed when you inquire. Catering.

Do you support local fundraisers?

Yes — Dine & Donate nights where a share of the evening goes to the cause, gift cards and packages for auctions and raffles, fundraiser hosting for up to 500 with nonprofit rates, and custom-built benefit events. Priority goes to schools, youth sports, first responders and causes serving Berwyn and the surrounding Main Line. Ask at least four weeks ahead. Community.

Is there parking for a big private event?

Yes. Free lots and street parking within three minutes — between them, room for a full building, which is how we host 500 without a parking problem. For a big event we point guests at the station lot. Valet is available for large private events — ask when you book and we arrange it, with signage and staff directing guests to the right lot. Valet does not run on ordinary nights.

How do I book an event?

Send the date and a rough headcount through the event form, or call 610-220-2367. Most inquiries hear back within one business day. A twenty-five percent deposit takes the date off the calendar.

Getting here & home

Where do we park?

Free, and there is more of it than it looks. Our lot is behind the building, first right off Main Avenue, and it fills first on a weekend. Then, all free and within three minutes on foot: Berwyn station — 140 spaces on both sides of the tracks, free after five and all weekend, the one with real capacity — and the Trinity Church lot at the top of the hill. There is more behind the old Malvern Federal building, though it is shared and not always open. Plus street parking on Lancaster and Main. Please do not park directly in front of the houses on Main Avenue — we share the block with neighbors. What is the Safe Customer Program?

Show proof of a rideshare or transit booking and it comes off the check — five dollars for one guest, ten for a group of up to four traveling together. Berwyn station is directly across the street; check the last train, because we are open later than SEPTA runs on Friday and Saturday. The details.

What is the best way to get home after a night out?

The train, for most of the evening — Berwyn station is directly across Lancaster Avenue on SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale line. After the last train, a ride: ask any bartender and we will call you a car. Rideshare pickup works best out front on Lancaster Avenue or at the rear entrance from Main Avenue. Leaving a car in our lot overnight is fine — collect it the next day.

Is the building wheelchair accessible?

The first floor is fully accessible — the lounge, the bar, the first-floor event space and the restrooms. The Loft is on the second floor with no elevator; a stair-climbing chair is available for guests who need it, and staff are trained to use it — call 610-220-2367 in advance so it is ready.
