Seven colleges within ten miles, and Berwyn station directly across the road on SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale line.

That last part is what actually decides whether a chapter books a venue. Nobody has to drive, nobody has to charter a bus, and nobody is responsible for getting a hundred people home at one in the morning.

The room

Two hundred fifty in The Loft. Permanent stage, installed professional sound, and an LED dance floor that does most of the work for you. Three thousand square feet upstairs with its own bar, so your event is not sharing a room with anybody.

Downstairs stays open for the people who need ten minutes away from the volume. Pool, shuffleboard, second bar. On a formal, that room matters more than anyone expects when they book.

The 21+ policy — read this before you inquire

We wristband. Every event, no exceptions, no negotiating it on the night.

Twenty-one and over gets a band and can drink. Under 21 comes in, dances, eats, and does not. Our staff check at the door and again at the bar, and we will shut a bar down over it if we have to.

Every chapter we work with knows this before they book, and the good ones are relieved. Your risk manager can put our policy in front of nationals and your chapter advisor and it will hold up. A venue that is loose about this is not doing you a favour — it is handing your chapter the liability.

Booking on a chapter budget

Room rental starts at $250 and twenty-five percent holds the date.

The move most chapters make is a weeknight or a Sunday, when the rate is lower and the building is private-events-only anyway. Same room, same DJ, meaningfully less per head.

Per head, and the menu & the bar package are what move it. A mixed-age room needs two numbers, not one — with the bar and without — and we quote you both, so you can set a ticket price that actually works.

Date, headcount, and whether you are ticketing it. A real number comes back inside one business day.

What else lands here

Formals, semis, date nights and senior sendoffs. Athletics banquets. Club and society end-of-year dinners. Graduation parties for the family who came in from out of state.

Book a semester out. Spring formal dates in this area get taken by November.

Twenty-guest minimum for any room, the Lounge included. First floor fully accessible with accessible restrooms. The Loft is second floor with no elevator — but there is a stair-climbing chair and staff trained to use it — arranged ahead, never on the night. If anyone attending needs step-free access, tell us at booking and we will either have the chair ready or run the event downstairs.
