The party for people who do not have one

December is full of parties you have to go to. The work one. The one at somebody's house where you do not know anyone. The one you host, which is not a party at all, it is a job with a cheese board.

This is the other kind. Nobody is hosting it, nobody has a seating plan, and nobody is watching to see whether you talk to the right people.

This is not your office party

If you are looking to book a Christmas party — the company one, the department one, a room with your own bar and your own food — that is a different page, and December dates go early.

The 19th is the public one. It costs nothing to attend and there is nothing to arrange.

The forest green band

The Christmas Party is the fourth of the five Full Set nights, and forest green is its color.

One band per guest. It redeems for half an appetizer in January — as does the black one from New Year's Eve, which is deliberate, because January is the deadest month in this business and we would rather it wasn't.

Two nights left after this one. If you have teal from September, orange from Halloween and red from Thanksgiving, the 19th and the 31st are the whole set.

Getting home

A dead phone is how people end up driving, and December is the month it happens. Charging stations at the lounge bar, free, always.

Show us a booked ride or a train ticket and it comes off the check — $5 for one, $10 for a group of up to four. Berwyn station is directly across Lancaster Avenue. How we run the room.

Questions

Do I need a ticket?

No. It is open to everybody and there is nothing to buy in advance.

Can I book a table?

Yes, and on a December Saturday it is worth it — up to eight online, nine or more through the group form. Reserve.

Is the kitchen open?

Five to nine, as always. The bar menu carries on to midnight on a Saturday. The whole card.

Can I bring the kids?

Until ten at night, with a parent or guardian. After ten it is twenty-one and over.

What if I want my own room that night?

The 19th is a public night downstairs, but ask us — the building has five rooms and they do not all do the same thing on the same evening. Private events.
